Had the opportunity to stay in the Star Hotel Bed & Breakfast in nearby Star, NC (about 15 miles from Robbins) while visiting some friends from North Moore HS. All I can say is wow. Very impressed that such a small town like Star has a place this unique. The owner was born and raised there but now is in the entertainment industry in California. I think his financial strength and vision is what helps make this place. I think furnishing it is almost a hobby for him. His sister and brother inlaw actually run the inn and were so accommodating and nice. Gave me the grand tour and history of this interesting place. Excellent food too.
