Did a High Performance Driving School through BMW Car Club of America - Tarheel Chapter at the Virginia International Roadway (VIR) in Danville, VA. Was my first time so learned a lot, but have a lot to learn to. Were four different run groups with about 30 to 40 cars per group. The road track was about 3.5 miles long with a lot of varying turns and a couple of nice straightaways. Cars were mostly BMWs. Some of the more experienced guys had modified cars for track purposes only. Others were like me and wanted to see just how good a car we paid good money for.
